ISCC Certification
Invested S3 LLC dba Premier Grease Recycling (Premier Grease Recycling) collects used cooking oil for use as a feedstock in the production of biofuels, such as biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable consumer products. To ensure the integrity and sustainability of this material, Premier Grease Recycling participates in the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) EU and PLUS schemes, which verify that the used cooking oil qualifies as genuine waste or residue.
The ISCC certification process requires Premier Grease Recycling to notify the entities supplying used cooking oil (classified as points of origin), of its involvement in the EU and PLUS certification schemes, along with providing them with a copy of the ISCC EU Self-Declaration and ISCC PLUS Self-Declaration. All entities supplying used cooking oil to Premier Grease Recycling must comply with the requirements set forth in these self-declarations.
From now onwards, Premier Grease Recycling will collect your used cooking oil under the assumption that you meet the requirements set forth in the respective self-declarations, unless formally noted otherwise (see next paragraph). You can accept the certification requirements by simply continuing to present your used cooking oil to Premier Grease Recycling. No further action or response is needed.
These self-declarations presented herein are a valid part of the contract between Premier Grease Recycling and the Customer supplying used cooking oil. The self-declarations may be provided either within the written contract or within the terms and conditions (a mailed letter notifying the Customer of Premier Grease Recycling’s participation in the ISCC program). If included in the written contract, the self-declarations are accepted as of the contract’s effective date. If included in the terms and conditions (mailed letter), they are accepted unless the Customer submits a written objection to Premier Grease Recycling within 14 days after the terms and conditions are presented. If no objection is received within that 14-day period, the self-declarations will be considered accepted and incorporated into the customer’s agreement with Premier Grease Recycling.
